What's on your workdesk Wednesday

It's Wednesday again and so it must be time to join Julia to share the contents of our workdesk. Once again, my kitchen table is in need of a good tidy up (regular readers will be spotting a theme here). I really must get in the habit of tidying up one project before starting another.
So on the table of shame today you can see a project that I've been working on for a challenge which has involved getting very messy. To the left, perilously close to the paint is a beautiful English Garden 12x12 paper pad that I actually managed to cut into to make a card, which is balancing on top of my cut n boss waiting to go into an envelope and into the post. On top of the paper pad to the left is an mdf storage unit that I bought at the weekend (I forgot to confess about that on my shopping spree!) I glued it together yesterday but need to think about how to decorate it.
Apologies if I don't get round to commenting on your blog straight away or if my comments are brief. My GP has increased my morphine, but I'm still suffering from my brilliant crafting weekend and typing makes my shoulder throb! I hope you all have a wonderful creative week x

  1. Hi Cara you look very organised on your desk. Not at all like my tip!
Thanks for you comment about not being old enough to have a 17 year old, unfortunately I am so. ;) In fact one of the girls I work with who is about 8 years younger than me is a granny!! Scary. I have a few friends now who are Granny's, what can I say I was a late starter, too busy having fun!

Enjoy your Wednesday, hugs Erika. x

  2. Love the look of that project you are working on... Looking forward to seeing that finished.
Ha ha ha ha! You really made me laugh. So funny how we forget to 'fess up to purchases made, eh? that looks a really useful item though.
Hope your pain is under control soon.
    Sending you a crafty hug.

Sorry to hear you feeling the consequences of your fab weekend Cara. I hope a rest together with the meds will help you feel much better. Barbxx

  6. if commenting causes pain, give yourself a break and don't, we understand! I love that this is your kitchen table...hard to tell! I'm completely over the problem of using or cutting not stuff, it's taken about 10 years, so be ready! I have an MDF holder to do too - even got specific papers to cover it etc. Its a year old. I take it to every crop. I still haven't done it. Inspire me, do!

  7. I'm another who has a hoard of paper that I'm saving 'for something special', lol. I am now making myself use it- how silly we are. Totally understand how morphine makes you feel- been there, done that. Look after yourself- just browse at the blogs, don't comment if you don't feel up to it, we do all understand, honestly! Have a great week, Hugs Shaz #19xxx

  11. Your table looks wonderfully creative. I have a habit of piling things up - that's how I broke my paper cutter!

I hope you can manage your pain soon.

    Have a great week
